Everyday Kidney Care: Small Habits That Support Healthy Kidneys

Kidneys quietly 24/7 blood filter karte rehte hain, waste nikalte hain, fluid–salt balance manage karte hain. Jab tak test kharab nahi aata, hum unko yaad hi nahi karte. Thoda daily care unki life aasan bana sakta hai.

Sabse basic habit: hydration. Zyada bhi nahi, kam bhi nahi. Colourless–pale yellow urine usually signal hai ki paani thik-thak level pe hai. Constant dark yellow, strong smell ho, to thoda fluids badha sakte ho (agar doctor ne fluid restriction nahi diya ho).

High BP aur uncontrolled diabetes kidney damage ke top causes me se hain. Agar tum in dono se deal kar rahe ho, sugar aur BP stability indirectly hi kidney ko protect kar rahi hai.

Painkiller (especially strong NSAIDs) ko roz-marra wali chewing gum mat banao. Long-term, high-dose self-medication kidney pe stress daal sakta hai. Ye cheezein doctor ke proper guidance se hi regular basis pe use karna safe hai.

Excess protein supplements, crash diets, unknown “detox” powders, ya heavy gym chemicals bhi kidneys ke liye extra load ban sakte hain, especially jin logo ko already mild damage ho.

Routine me simple tests – creatinine, urine test, BP, sugar – kidney status ka early signal de sakte hain. Early pakdi gayi problem zyada manageable hoti hai.
