Pain Management Clinics: When Chronic Pain Needs More Than Just Tablets

Chronic pain – jaise long-term back pain, neck pain, nerve pain, cancer-related pain – sirf ek tablet se magical vanish nahi hota. Jab months se pain life disturb kar raha ho, sleep, mood, work sab affect ho rahe ho, tab pain management clinic ka concept useful ho sakta hai.

Yeh clinics generally multi-disciplinary hote hain. Team me anaesthetist/pain specialist, physiotherapist, psychologist, sometimes surgeon sab milkar plan banate hain. Aim hota hai pain ko practical level tak control karna, cause ko address karna (jab possible ho), aur tumhari functionality improve karna.

Tools sirf painkiller nahi – injections (nerve blocks, epidural, joint injections), targeted therapies, physio programme, counselling (kyunki chronic pain anxiety/depression se closely linked ho sakta hai), lifestyle training, posture correction, etc.

Baar-baar over-the-counter strong medicines khana, ya local ointment + home totka ke cycle me atke rehna, long-term organ damage aur tolerance dono create kar sakta hai.

Pain clinic ka matlab ye nahi ki “ab dard kabhi nahi hoga”, but ye hai ki:

  • intensity manageable ho,
  • frequency kam ho,
  • tum normal life ke closer aa sako.

Agar tum easily kaam, walk, sleep, enjoy kar pa rahe ho, to ye bhi success hi hai.
